The Nobel Prize Cake

30th October 2016

A 14" vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam filling. I had the privilege to make this for Sir J Fraser Stoddart, one of the recipients of the 2016 Nobel prize for Chemistry.

Minion two sided Wedding Cake

23rd October

Base tier tipsy fruit, middle tier chocolate fudge cake with chocolate fudge buttercream, top tier lemon sponge with lemon curd and lemon buttercream. 
The brief was pretty on the front, colours purple and yellow, Minions building the cake on the back. Hopefully I have fulfilled this !

Giant Cupcake and Cupcake Tower

Lemon giant cupcake with lemon curd and lemon buttercream, cupcakes are lemon and vanilla.
These photo's were kindly supplied by my lovely sister in law. The cakes were for her sisters wedding and my lovely big brother travelled from Leeds and back to collect them, and they set them up too! Awesome job guys!

Floating Book Cake

10" chocolate cake and 8" vanilla sponge. hand made and moulded decorations, with a floating book topper. Decorations include some of the birthday girls hobbies and likes.

3 x layers of chocolate sponge with chocolate fudge buttercream filling, chocolate buttercream coating, with a dark chocolate ganache drip, chocolate fudge buttercream swirls and Milky bar buttons.
